About me
Born and raised in Bærum, Norway, I came to Vancouver to attend UBC at eighteen, then stayed in the city after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Asian studies and a Bachelor of Kinesiology in neuromechanical and physiological sciences.
After an incredibly unathletic childhood, I found myself in the weight room at 16 and never looked back. From teaching myself how to lift, to getting certified as a trainer, to gaining a degree in exercise science, I am never fully caught up with how much I want to learn.
I began personal training in early 2023 and became a registered kinesiologist in 2024, earning further certifications on top of my education and expanding my skillset. Five years of pole dancing, a decade of lifting, and training clients in the gym, seniors in their homes, and soon-to-be parents, has helped me broaden my knowledge and shape me into the trainer I am today.
As I’ve gotten further into the training field, working with a variety of clients with all different goals and concerns, I’ve found myself drawn to working with populations historically neglected in the fitness sphere, namely women, pregnant individuals, the trans community, and seniors.
Outside of work, I am an enthusiastic reader of transgressive literary fiction, I watch hockey (both live, and on the computer while doing my nails), I dabble in a bit of writing, and love to cook for myself and my loved ones.
I learn something valuable from every client I meet, and I am always pursuing further education in hopes of giving back to my clients who trust me with their health and journeys through life.
I love my job, and always strive to be as helpful and supportive as I can.

Every program is written from scratch, based on your wishes, goals, and exercise history, to make it as safe and effective as possible. I take into account and address any bothersome symptoms you might have, from fatigue to pain to a history of not enjoying exercise. For pregnant clients, this might also include common issues in the hips, back, pelvis, and more.
My prenatal training services are trans and non-binary inclusive, and I am happy to educate birthing partners, co-parents, fathers, mothers and second parents, so that they better understand the physiological aspects of their partner’s pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. I welcome them to be present during sessions if the client wishes, particularly towards the end of the pregnancy.
